Cleaning Services in Northeast Calgary

Northeast Calgary pairs some of the city's newest family communities with established 1970s and 80s neighbourhoods and Calgary's densest concentration of warehouse and light industrial space. HH Contracting works across the NE on recurring house cleans, commercial and industrial janitorial, carpet, move-in and move-out, furnace and duct, and window cleaning, plus post-construction work for builders.

From a new possession in Redstone to a warehouse account along Metis Trail or a rental turnover in Marlborough, we schedule around your trades, tenants or business hours rather than the other way round.

Cleaning in Northeast Calgary

The NE leads Calgary in new-community rollouts, which means constant builder possessions, plus commercial growth around the airport that drives demand for after-hours commercial cleans.

Whatever the job in Northeast Calgary, from a recurring house clean to an office contract or a builder handover, you get the same insured, checklist-driven standard and same-week availability we offer across the Calgary region.

New builds, and what they need two years in

Cornerstone, Redstone, Skyview Ranch, Savanna and Cityscape are among the newest residential communities in Calgary, and that shapes the work almost entirely. A great deal of what we do here is still builder-side: final cleans before possession, touch-up cleans before a walkthrough, and the first clean after a basement development.

The pattern we see next is worth flagging if you bought new in the northeast. Roughly two years after possession, once the basement is finished and the landscaping is in, homes here hit their first real cleaning need, and it is usually carpet and ducts rather than surfaces. Construction dust from the original build settles into the duct system and the carpet pile and does not leave on its own; people spend a year assuming the house is just dusty before working out where it is coming from.

Multi-generational households are also more common in the northeast than in any other quadrant, which changes the brief. More occupants, more traffic on stairs and entrances, and more cooking mean higher-frequency recurring cleans and shorter carpet intervals than the same square footage would need elsewhere.

The established northeast is a different job

Marlborough, Monterey Park, Falconridge, Coral Springs, Whitehorn, Rundle and Temple are 1970s and 1980s stock, and they need almost the opposite service mix. Original furnaces and duct systems that have never been cleaned, carpet on its second or third life, and kitchens and bathrooms being renovated to make the homes rentable or saleable.

Duct cleaning in particular is worth taking seriously in these communities, not as an upsell but because a forty-year-old system that has never had source removal done genuinely holds four decades of accumulation. It is also the case where the difference is most obvious afterwards, which is not true of every home we quote.

There is a large and active rental market through these communities too, so move-out and turnover cleaning is steady year-round rather than clustered at month end. For landlords running several units, we work off a standing scope so every turnover is cleaned to the same documented standard with the checklist returned per unit.

Commercial work along the airport corridor

The northeast carries Calgary's densest concentration of light industrial, warehouse and logistics space, running along Metis Trail, Country Hills Boulevard and the airport corridor through Jacksonport, Stoneygate and the industrial parks. That is a genuinely different commercial cleaning brief from a downtown office tower.

What it usually means: large hard-floor areas that need scrubbing rather than mopping, warehouse and shop space where dust control matters more than presentation, staff washrooms and lunchrooms taking heavy shift traffic, and a small front office that is the only part a visitor ever sees. Frequencies are typically lower than an office and the periodic deep cycle matters more.

There is also constant tenant-improvement activity through this corridor, and fit-out cleaning is our original trade. Running the construction clean and the janitorial that follows through one contractor saves you a second procurement cycle and a second certificate of insurance on file.

Northeast Calgary cleaning FAQs

Why is my new Cornerstone or Redstone home still dusty?

Almost always construction dust that settled into the duct system and carpet during the build and keeps recirculating every time the furnace runs. Surface cleaning will not resolve it. Duct cleaning followed by carpet extraction is what actually clears it, and it is the most common call we get from homes about two years past possession.

Do you clean ducts in older NE homes?

Yes, and Marlborough, Monterey Park, Falconridge, Coral Springs and Whitehorn are where it makes the most difference. Many of those systems date to the original build and have never had proper source removal. It is one of the few cases where the result is immediately obvious.

Do you clean warehouses and industrial units?

Yes. The Metis Trail and airport corridor is a regular part of our commercial route, including warehouse and shop space, staff washrooms and lunchrooms, and front-office areas. Large hard floors are scrubbed rather than mopped, and we quote by area and traffic after a walkthrough.

Can you handle rental turnovers across multiple NE units?

Yes. We work off a standing scope for landlords and property managers so every unit is cleaned to the same documented standard, with the completed checklist returned per unit. That gives you a consistent baseline if a deposit deduction is ever challenged.

Do you offer recurring cleaning for larger households?

Yes, and it is common in the northeast. More occupants means more traffic on entrances and stairs, so we usually scope a higher frequency or a shorter carpet interval than the same square footage would need elsewhere. We quote by home and condition rather than a fixed package.
